2 years old and not talking yet
Any help from out there would be great!
I have a nephew that turned 2 in May and he doesn't speak yet, which is causing us to worry. He is in therapy, but we are not seeing results fast enough. He is exactly where he needs to be as far as his comprehension. He is very smart. He talks with his mouth closed. For instance, if you tell him to say thank you, he hums it in the same tone. It is almost as if he is not aware of his tongue. He will open his mouth if you open yours, but if you ask him to show you his tongue, he can't figure out how to move it.
Any suggestions???

Has anyone checked under his tongue to see if the frenulum is too tight?
