11 yr old daughter vomiting every couple of weeks since christmas
since Christmas, my daughter (11) vomits every couple of weeks. She is otherwise fine and is fine during the day....then 11.00pm arrives and she starts with a sore stomach and feeling sick. Then she vomits! She retches and vomits small amounts for about an hour, goes to sleep and is fine again in the morning until about a week or two later when it all happens again.
anyone any ideas?

My 6 yr. old daughter has had 2 stomach viruses since mid January. Is it possible that she could have had stomach viruses? Is she eating something every two weeks for dinner that could be causing trouble?

I agree with Sannah, sounds like it could be just an upset stomach due do a virus. Maybe it's just not out of her system yet.
Again, like the above, is something upsetting her stomach? Could she be over eating one thing in particular every couple of weeks?, like a treat?
I'd take her to the doctor if it continues and you're worried.

No, she doesn't seem to be eating anything out of the ordinary. The thing is, the last couple of times she's been sick, it seems as though she has digested what she ate for her dinner and is only bringing up what she may have eaten for her supper. It happened last night and it wasn't quite as bad and this morning she was absolutely fine. it's very strange. I made an appointment for her to see GP but couldn't get one before 26th March.
