depo concern
i had the depo for 3 years stopped it last year but still have nt had a period im getting very worried that maybe my periods wont come back at all and its caused me not to be able to have any children any advice would be gratfull do anyone know how long it takes for the period comes back

It does take many women on depo awhile to regain their fertility afterwards. If you don't get a period in 6 months to a year after your last injection, you may need to see your gynecologist. They can prescribe progesterone (Provera or Prometrium) that should cause you to have a period afterwards, with the hope that this will jumpstart your cycles to begin naturally.

Definately see a doctor if it doesn't return within 6 months or so. I went through all of this. My period didn't return for 5 years and didn't become regular until 9 years after I had my last injection!!! I managed to get pregnant during the first 5 years thanks to 4 rounds of Clomid. That was the only thing that made my period come.
