Irregular heartbeat after quitting the Pill?
It might be nothing to do with it but I recently discovered that my hearbeat isn't as regular as it was before. It also skipps a heartbeat sometimes. I stopped taking Yasmin in January and I also had appendicitis (surgery) in December, so any of those two could have caused it? I went to see my GP and he took some blood samples for tests so I'll know hopefully next week. Just worried and trying to see what has happenned!? I have always been very healthy and my heart was good, my blood pressure is fine.

What you are experiencing is not a typical effect of discontinuing birth control. The problem is likely unrelated. I would schedule an EKG to find out more, your primary care physician should be able to do this during an office visit.

be careful! I had a stroke in Jan 06 caused by undiagnosed irregular heartbeat - I had gone into a-fib and didn't realize it.
