when taking a pill- are you supposed to get your period when you take the placebo pills?

After being worried that I had not started until Thursday of my placibo pills that something was wrong, and my gynecologist assured me that it is okay. Some women start at the beginning of their placibo, other start mid or even the end of it. I'm sure that your doctor could clear up all of your questions, should you have them.
