Yasmin Advice, has this happened to anyone?!
im on my 2nd month of Yasmin. ok. i got on it because of acne , also obviously for birth control. was on the shot 6months ago,never again. well, first month was ok, no side effects, skin slightly better, but nothing is a cure for that it seems. Well about 3 days before the first pack almost ran out, i got incredible syptoms of dryness,like almost a u.t.i/yeast infection. too make matters worse, once i started the 2nd pack, it seemed as if i would have a horrible aching and irritation("down there") also the past couple times with my b.f. intercourse was awfully painful and im scared to be intimate it hurts as if the tissue is damaged. this is me being honest. does anyone have this problem?? i like the effects other than this but this is BAD!!

I was on Yasmin for quite some time, and I noticed that I had a lot of dryness "down there." Before being on the Pill, I had lots of lubrication, and the normal daily discharge, and after being on Yasmin, I did notice a change. I have been off of Yasmin (no longer able to take bc pills) and my normal lubrication has returned and everything is back to where it was before. I'm not sure if it's birth control in general, or just Yasmin and how it can effect some women.
I would suggest going and getting some lubrication that you and your boyfriend can use during intercourse. It'll definitely help!

Birth control in general dries you out down there. It happened to me no matter which pill I was on. All you can do is use plenty of lube. My natural lubrication has returned now that I'm off BCPs.
