yaz questions!!
hi, i am about to go on yaz after doing some of my own research. i have been on loestrin 24 fe for two months now and i absolutely hate it!! it makes me sooo depressed. i was also on yasmin and nevon 777 which both made me gain an enormous amount of weight. im hoping yaz doesnt have either of these effects because i am tired of searching for the perfect bcp for me. if you guys could tell me some of your experiences with yaz i would love to hear them! i start tomorrow. thanx!!

I've been on yaz for 2 months. I just started my 3rd month today. I have had no problems except that my boyfriend says i'm sortof...well....crazy since I started it. I'm getting mad at him more and stuff and being more emotional. He said before I started the pill, I wasn't crazy. I had breakthrough bleeding the first month, and after my first period on it, the breakthrough bleeding was gone completely. I like yaz, aside from having to remember to take a pill everyday. oh and my acne has calmed down alot. Don't know if you have/had acne but it seemed to help mine. So theres my experience with yaz.
Also, yaz is the same as yasmin, just lower dose, so you may still experience weight gain.

I thought I'd add...I start Ortho LO Sunday night. I switched off yaz. My emotional stuff suddenly started getting worse and my acne got kinda bad. I'm glad I'm switching.
