Sex on seventh day?

So, last night my boyfriend and i had sex, i had taken my seveth pill about two hours before, and we used a spermacide condom. I know that i should be ok, but i was just wondering. There was no leakage.
Also, i was wondering, i know that the spermacide condoms dont have a large amount on it, but is it still effective? Is it just better to buy the regular condoms and use the spermacidal foam stuff? I know i should be ok with just a condom and the pill, but i've very paranoid...and none of my friends can answer me, so i thought i'd ask you guys.
Also...(sorry) can spermacide be harmful to your body?

Hey that's great that you used a condom! Mazel tov! There are so many girls who just have unprotected sex after they first start the pill and then they freak out because they don't know if they were protected!

But in your case, since you used a condom, one with spermicide even, then you're actually way more protected, which is great!!

Spermicide is perfectly healthy for you to use, but there are some women (such as myself) who are allergic to it and therefore can't use it. But if you are not allergic and can use it, then you're lucky, because the reason for the spermicide is to kill any sperm that may be lurking around and therefore you have much less reason to worry about pregnancy.

Good job! I'm actually really pleased to hear that finally there was someone here that was smart enough to use a condom after only 7 days! I hope that other girls will read this and learn from you, because it's important.

Lol, well, im glad that i can set an example! Neither of us really want kids ever, and even if we did have kids it would be adoption, but neither of us are ready for the ol' snipero just yet, so we're trying to be as safe as possible. And i even started the pill on the first day of my period, if not before (I started it when i though i had started my period, but i think it was just pre-periodness, because it stopped the next day). So i'm glad that i did everything right. Does anyone recommend the Foam over the spermacide condoms? I just want to be as safe as possible!

I was one of those girls who just jumped into unprotected sex after being on the pill. Stuuuupid me. I had a pregnancy scare (I turned out not to be but it was stiiiiiil scary) and we've used like...every form possible since then.

Also...(sorry) can spermacide be harmful to your body? Condoms with spermicide have been proven to be no more effective in preventing pregnancy than regular condoms AND spermicide has been proven to be corrosive to mucous membranes (e.g. the vagina). So in other words, don't bother with the spermicide, it adds nothing to your protection and if anything, is likely to hurt you (a reaction to spermicide is common, not rare).

But regardless, if you took your pills properly, you should be protected.

Also, I have read - from pill manufactureres themselves - that the 7-day wait is only to make sure you get into the habbit of taking them on time.
