Yaz
My doctor just gave me Yaz for hormones. Anyone else ever used it and had good results? I do have a problem with depression and anxiety already and it gets worse around my period. Will it make it worse? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Just monitor yourself on it. If you're already predisposed to depression & anxiety, you may not react well to any hormonal birth control. I didn't. It made my depression & anxiety much worse (this is 5 or 6 different pills). You may be fine, but if your mood suddenly gets worse, my advice would be to stop the pill. Good luck!

I've been on Yaz for about 6 months now, and it doesn't make me depressed like every other pill out there did. I couldn't live with myself while on other pills, but Yaz is such a low hormone that it doesn't affect my mood at all. I still get a little PMS, but Yaz is the first pill actually proven to reduce the symptoms. Good luck!
