progesterone only pills (minipills)?
Has anyone ever tried minipills .I was told by my doc that even for women who are taking it correctly ,she has seen that many of them get pregnant .Is this the case ?Has anyone got pregnant while taking them ?I read that if u take them everyday within 3 hours difference ,their efficacy is same as combines oral contraceptive pills .anyone has any experience plz help me .

i just started a mini pill not too long ago, orthro micronor. I LOVE IT!!! i have very very little side effects!!! i believe that the chance of pregnancy is 5%. you have to make sure that you take it at the right time, you chance of pregnancy is much higher when you miss pills or don't take them right on time.

I also just started Micronor, and so far, all is well! I don't have to worry about the pregnancy thing though because my b/f has had a vasectomy...I take the pill for lighter periods because of Endometriosis! With these, you take a pill every day throughout the month, so I'm hoping for no period whatsoever!.

Thanks for help .I think if one has to use pop for sole purpose of contraception ,its better to combine it with condoms during ovulation days .
